Question:
What is the difference between your 8 o'clock and your 10:30 worship services on Sunday?

Answer:
The 8:00 a.m. celebration of Holy Eucharist is a service in traditional Book of Common Prayer language without music. It is what has often been referred to as "low Mass."

The 10:30 celebration is the principal service. Much of the service is chanted or sung, the parish choir leads the congregational singing and provides well-prepared choral offerings, and the organist adorns the service with appropriate music. The ceremony is more formal than that of the early service and includes the ringing of bells and the offering of incense during Christmas and Easter and on other solemn occasions. The language of prayer varies slightly to reflect seasonal emphasis.
