Built Up In Christ - A Capital
Campaign Update
The “Built Up in Christ” capital campaign is
pleased to report that it has received 55 pledges
totaling $304,018. If you have been meaning to turn in a pledge
card but have not yet done so, it is not too late! There are blank pledge cards in the old Narthex you can
fill out and put in the offering, you can submit your
pledge to the church office by email to
stmark99@sbcglobal.net,
or by telephone to 817-277-6871.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
There will be a Level
1 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd training at St. Mark's
this summer, June 25-30. Registration is now underway.
If you are interested in attending, please contact the
Parish Office as soon as possible. The class
is limited to 15 participants.
Soles for Souls 1 mi/5k Race
Our 4th Annual
Soles for Souls 5k race is on July 17th.
We are in need of sponsors, door prizes, volunteers and
runners. Please see the T-shirt poster in the old
narthex. Take a solicitation letter to your hair
dresser, favorite restaurant, store, fitness center,
carpet cleaner, painter - who ever you do business with
and ask for a donation. This year we are inviting all
sponsors to set up a booth to promote their
business/service. This is a big selling point - be sure

Notes to Note:
Brotherhood of St. Andrew Meeting
The Brotherhood of St. Andrew will meet on Thursday,
June 24th at 7:00 PM.
Soup Kitchen
The Soup Kitchen serves lunch from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM every Thursday in
Kennedy Hall.
Sacrament of Confession
A priest will be sitting for Confession from 9:00 - 9:50 AM every Saturday in the chapel.
Summer Weekday Mass Schedule
During the weeks of June, July and
early August, weekday mass will be offered on Wednesday
at 7:00 PM, Thursday at 7:00 AM, Friday at 12:00 noon,
and Saturday at 10:00 AM, except when Fr. Perkins is on
vacation. Please take notice of the weekly schedule
published each week in the "On Lion’s Wings" and on this
page.
Summer Parish Choir Rehearsals
Midweek Summer Parish Choir Rehearsals will be held
immediately after 7 PM Mass on June 30, July 14, and
August 11. Sunday morning rehearsals continue at 9:45 AM
each Sunday. Weekly rehearsals resume on Wednesday,
September 1st.
Monthly Evensong on Summer Break
Monthly Evensong will be on recess for the months of
July and August, and resume on Wednesday, September 1st.
Christian Education on
Summer Break
Our Christian Education
offering is on a summer break.
Watch for a few special Adult Forums to be scheduled
during the summer. Christian Education will resume in
the fall.
Bible Study on Summer Break
The Wednesday Morning
Bible Study is on summer recess. Bible Study will resume
in late August. Book Sales
We will be selling books and other media items online
all year as a budget fundraiser. Please leave all
donations (books, videos, DVD’s, books on tape, etc.) on
the designated table in Kennedy Hall.
The Printery House
St. Mark’s is now a member of
The Printery House Affiliate Fundraiser Program.
Each time a purchase is made, and the St. Mark’s keycode
is given, we will receive a percentage of the sales.
The Spring Catalog for Printery House
is now available. A copy can be located on the table in
Kennedy Hall or you can view the items online.
If you go to our links page and click
on the Printery House link, we will automatically
receive a donation of 7% of whatever you purchase. Or
orders can be made via the
Printery House web site, toll-free number
(1-800-322-2737), or mail using the keycode AF1313. For

Altar Flowers and Sanctuary Candle
If you would like to make a donation to St. Mark's Church in celebration of a birthday, anniversary or in memory of a loved one, please fill out the appropriate form and sign the chart on the bulletin board in the parish hall or contact the Parish Office. The cost for flowers is $25 per Sunday. The cost for the candle is $5.00 per Sunday.
Forms for Recording the Anniversary of the Dearly Departed
Prayers for the departed are offered at Mass on the anniversary of their death. If you would like your departed loved ones registered for this remembrance, please contact the Parish Office.
