Christian Education
Saint Mark's has several Christian Education programs
designed to provide opportunities for spiritual
development and growth in the Christian Faith for every
member of our parish family. Christian education
offerings are on summer break and will resume in the
fall.Sunday Offering
On Sunday
mornings, our Christian
Education runs from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Our Sunday
offering includes Children’s Sunday School
for children, age 4 through grade 5, Youth Forum
for those in grades 6 to 12 and Adult Forum. At
St. Mark's we strive to provide all ages
with a deepening knowledge of the Christian faith, as
well as providing spiritual growth for our lives as
Christians.
Wednesday Offering
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
is
a Christian Education program for children ages 3 through 9. Catechesis is offered
Wednesday evenings beginning at 5:00 PM.
At the same
time we offer The Institute of the Good Shepherd for adults.
Every
session uses as a starting point the lesson plan of
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and then moves to a more
in-depth discussion guided by the parish clergy. All
adults are welcome to attend this very informative
discussion-oriented class. The evening concludes with Holy Eucharist at 7:00 PM.
Wednesday Morning Bible
Study is offered at 10:30 AM in the
Conference Room. The parish clergy lead the study. The
Study is concluded with Noon Day Prayer at 12:00 PM.
All are invited to spend your morning learning more
about the Christian Faith through the texts of Holy
Scripture.
